After being unveiled in China last May, according to the latest news coming from Hong Kong, Nokia X6 may soon be sliding for the international market. Precisely, Nokia X6 launch event allegedly will be held on 19 July.
This device is also rumored to be renamed Nokia 6.1 Plus for a version that is marketed outside the Bamboo Curtain country. Although the name is different, the specification of Nokia 6.1 Plus is said to remain the same as Nokia X6 in China. The screen is still measuring 5.8 inches (2,280 x 1,080 pixels) with bangs that adorn the top.
Rely on Snapdragon 636 chip paired with 4 GB RAM capacity and 32 GB or 64 GB ROM option. There is also a variant of 6 GB RAM with 64 GB of storage. On the back of the glassy Nokia 6.1 Plus, as well as the Nokia X6, there will be a 16 megapixel and 5 megapixel camera, plus a 16 megapixel front camera. Then there’s a 3.060 mAh battery, dual-SIM hybrid slot, and USB typ-C connector with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
In retail stores in China, Nokia X6 sells for 1,299 yuan for 4 GB of RAM variant and 32 GB internal. For 4 GB and internal 64 GB RAM variants sell for 1.449 yuan and 1,699 yuan for 6 GB RAM variant and 64 GB storage.
Not yet known how the price of Nokia 6.1 Plus aka Nokia X6 in the international market later, or the exact release schedule. There are allegations that HMD Global as licensed Nokia mobile phone brand would prioritize the Asian market as a region that has high sales potential.
